Library of Ideas Based on Time Commitment
If you’re thinking “What can I actually do about climate change?”, one simple answer is to commit yourself to positive action right now.
Often the thought of having enough time to do anything can stop us doing anything at all, so we’ve created different categories for you to explore based on how much time you have to commit to them.
Simply choose the level of time you can commit from the three choices below to see all the possible steps you can take based on that.
Can you really make a difference to mitigate climate change?
The short answer is: yes, you can. We all can. Especially if we act together!
There’s no denying that governments and corporations have a huge role to play in mitigating the climate crisis, particularly in providing legislation and reducing carbon footprints of goods and services, but ultimately it is up to each and every one of us to change, in order to demand that they do.
As individuals, every day, we produce the most emissions from our daily shopping, eating, travelling and domestic energy use, so we can make a difference on at home, at work, and in our everyday habits.
Again and again we see that governments follow and scale up, where small communities have led the way, so the more we can do as individuals and communities on a local level, the more impact we can make locally, nationally and internationally.
